Ladies of London – RECAP! “Red, White and Blue-Blooded” #LadiesOfLondon

Hello my London lovies! I hope you’re enjoying Ladies of London as much as I am! Let’s look back at last week. Caprice was in the papers for her two babies. Annabelle was training for a charity horse race and everyone was attending the Serpentine.

Now on with the show!

Marissa is meeting Juliet for drinks. Marissa shares with her that she’s getting her British citizenship soon; so this year will be her last to celebrate the 4th of July as an American. She asks Juliet to host the party with her at her new restaurant, Bumpkin. Juliet wants a big cardboard cutout of Obama and Uncle Sam for decorations at their party. Marissa tells her no because it’s not proper. Caroline’s talking head says that it’s ironic they’re hosting a 4th of July party in London. I agree.

Why is Caprice giving her dog pineapple, by the way? It’s way too acidic for a little dog! She bugs me; I’m sorry. She cares way too much about being in the society pages for my taste. Like Alex that was on RHONY some years back.

Annabelle’s grandma is visiting her and she’s precious. They’re discussing some captain Santinelli character and it has some major significance to their family and who will take the throne next. Not sure, I’m too American to keep up! I love Annabelle and her grandmother. They’re funny and drama free. They also talk about Alexander McQueen and it just makes me sad. He left us way before his time. 😦

I love her business! She’s a genius IMO!

Now we are in East London. Annabelle is mentoring an up and coming designer. I didn’t catch her name but I really like her work. Marissa is overseeing the final details for her 4th of July party. Juliet gets there just as the party is starting even though she’s co-hosting the event. She’s is annoying as fuck, I’m sorry! She also dresses like shit for being a stylist. Caroline’s makeup artist is adorable. He has no idea what the 4th of July is about and for some reason I find him precious as he talks about it. Moving over to Noelle. She can claim all she wants that she doesn’t care about Scot’s money, but she so does! Caroline is a good sport with her red, white and blue she’s wearing to Marissa’s party. I obviously love her! Annabelle came in all black as she states the Brits are in mourning on the 4th. I get it. Caprice looks beautiful at the party, as always. She informs Marissa that she hasn’t celebrated the 4th of July in the 17 years that she’s lived in London.

I like the party. It’s cute and looks like fun! Although Juliet talks way too much. Oh dear, Annabelle just told her to shut up. I’m high 5’ing her all the way from the states! Caroline is giving Juliet a hard time about her outfit. She likes Juliet so Juliet is just going along with it. It’s hilarious! I like Caroline’s sense of humor.

Marissa is giving a toast and is so adorable. She is who she is and isn’t a wannabe Brit with a fake accent like Caprice. Why is Juliet singing the National Anthem? I’m with Caprice on this one, “That’s why the Brits make fun of Americans.” and Annabelle, “.. more like the Star Strangled Banner.” I love Annabelle! She doesn’t play and takes prisoners; she’s great!

The Juliet and Annabelle fight was unnecessary. What was it even about? Juliet doesn’t get the Brit’s humor and Annabelle was fed up with her over the top American loudness. Juliet is talking mad shit about Annabelle to all the ladies at the party after Annabelle left. Caprice gets mad and runs after Annabelle. Then Noelle asks Caprice if she’s ok. Wtf? Why is Noelle all up Caprice’s bum all the time?

Just let Annabelle go and she’ll be fine. Caprice is all hormonal and decides to chastise Juliet about being too outspoken. It’s crazy!

Caroline is upset because Caprice turns down her offer to host a baby shower for her at her home. Noelle and Scot have a fight and they might be over for good. Stay tuned! See you next week!

Ladies of London – RECAP! “A Match Made in Tabloid Heaven” #LadiesOfLondon

Juliet opens this episode with a sweet scene with her daughter. She got an award at school and they are discussing it. Marissa is managing one of her husband’s restaurants. Then Juliet shows up and Marissa decides to take a break to lunch with her. They talk about Polo in the park and how the Brits are too stuffy. They also discuss an upcoming event on the London social calendar, Serpentine. It’s an elegant affair that all the who’s who of London attend in the summer. Marissa’s husband will be managing the bar for the event. I’m sure it’s a great time!

Scott and Noelle are meeting for lunch and discuss his divorce. Apparently his ex-wife wants more money, $2 million to be exact. Sounds like a hot mess as this divorce has been going on for roughly 4 years. Caprice and Ty are talking about their baby. They listen to the heart beat in their home. She’s 7 months pregnant, but looks like 5, IMO. Time out, Caprice is having twins now? She explains that she had a hard time conceiving; so they contacted a surrogate to carry it for them. Then, Caprice got pregnant. She will be 8 months pregnant when her other baby is born from the surrogate. That’s pretty crazy! Caroline’s house is to die for! I actually moved in 2 weeks ago and they have no idea that I’m here. That’s how big it is! Her husband is super cute and very sweet. Caroline says that her husband calls her out when needed and totally balances her out. That’s great; sounds like they have a normal, loving marriage. Noelle and Scott are flat shopping. Scott couldn’t get tickets to Serpentine, Noelle’s pissed and calls Marissa to see if she can use her connections to try for tickets. I love how everyone refers to Noelle as “the hustler” ha, go girl! Don’t hate the playa, hate the game! I also love Caroline’s company! Why didn’t I think of that? Apparently Caprice is in the tabloids for her double baby news. Everyone thinks it’s tacky that she sold her baby story to the tabloids and claim that it must be a slow news day. The Brits are aghast. Wow, Caprice took the cover over Kate Middleton and she gloated about it. For shame! Caroline is having her makeup done for Serpentine and again I’m taking notes. Marissa is just adorable, isn’t she? She’s also very sweet, IMO. As Noelle is having her hair done for Serpentine Scott pops into the salon to break it to her that he couldn’t score tickets for the event. She’s very upset, but Scott reminds her that the Hermers are having a pre-party; so she can still see everyone for cocktails. That doesn’t help in Noelle’s eyes. She really wanted to go. Surely Marissa can get her in, right? Doesn’t her husband own everything fun in London? Good friends to have, for sure! Why doesn’t Noelle go as Caroline’s +1? Scott can go as Caprice’s since neither are bringing their husband. Just a thought! OMG, I’m dying over Caroline’s Roberto Cavalli dress!

Well hallelujah, Caroline offers her husband’s ticket to Noelle! What a sweetie. Caprice’s dress is barftastic; preggers or not. Caprice is beautiful though. All the ladies are thinking that it’s messed up that Noelle is leaving Scott high and dry to go to the event. Poor fella…

Annabelle looks absolutely stunning! She’s in Alexander McQueen, of course. It’s red carpet time at Serpentine and some people look fab, but others look like crap. Just saying

I’m also not digging Marissa’s beehive.

Ladies of London RECAP! “My Fair Ladies of London”

I have been so excited for the premiere of Ladies of London. You don’t even know! The ladies did not disappoint either. Since this is the series premiere episode; I’m going to introduce all the ladies and then recap. I hope you all enjoyed the show as much as I did…

Caroline Stanbury is super rich, married to financier, Cem Habib. She’s the founder of a luxury gifting and personal shopping service, Gift Library of Caroline Stanbury. http://www.gift-library.com/ She’s a Brit, has a great house, beautiful kids and is a pitbull in London’s society circles.

Caprice Bourret who is known by just Caprice, no last name needed is from California. She’s an international model and has lived in London for almost 20 years. She’s the CEO and founder of By Caprice Products which is a lingerie line. http://www.caprice-online.com/ She’s also preggers and sharing her life with Ty.

Annabelle Neilson Has already become my fav. She describes herself as not girly, girly, doesn’t care if her nails are done perfect. In my opinion, she’s punk, has balls and is awesome. Annabelle comes from an aristocratic family and I’m not quite sure what that means. Just being honest! She was Alexander McQueen’s muse and his best friend. She’s still trying to cope with his death. So heartbreaking… Annabelle is a horse rider and is taking lessons to prepare for a race for charity. She’s also an author of a children’s book and is penning a novel on her friendship with McQueen.

Noelle Reno is from Seattle and has lived in London for 10 years. She was a model and moved to London for her ex-fiance. Noelle is a fashion entrepreneur, television correspondent, and socialite. She is also the co-founder of the cashmere fashion brand, Degrees of Freedom and has partnered with celebrated fashion designer, Zandra Rhodes to found the clothing line, Z by Zandra Rhodes. http://www.noellereno.org/ She’s currently dating Scott Young, a property entrepreneur whose recent high profile divorce has kept them both in the spotlight. They have been dating for 3 years and his divorce from his wife is ongoing and a hot mess. He went to jail for allegedly hiding 400 million pounds in assets from his estranged wife.

Marissa Hermer is from Newport Beach, CA. After graduating from Middlebury College in Vermont to start a public relations career. She then started her career. Marissa moved to New York to work for fashion luxury powerhouse, Nadine Johnson and later Syndicate Media Group and helped Ian Schrager launch a number of fashion, luxury restaurants and nightclub brands. While in New York, Marissa met London nightclub owner and restaurateur Matt Hermer. Hermer owns the hottest, most elite night club in London, Boujis. Sounds fun! Marissa is working on getting her citizenship. Her husband is over the moon for her. It’s very sweet.

Juliet Angus is from Chicago. She and her husband have resided in London for 3 years and his job is what brought them over the pond. Juliet’s husband is an Ad Exec. Juliet’s international fashion relationships have been instrumental to her success in London. She works with top fashion designers and celebrities creating memorable red carpet moments and also putting her mark on some very influential wardrobes. Ok, now on with the episode…! Caprice calls Annabelle to go to polo with her and Caroline. Annabelle is having a riding lesson with her trainer for a race. She looks like a natural to me, but her trainer wants her to get in shape. Noelle and Caprice meet for lunch. They’re discussing how to get ahead in London society. Caprice breaks it down to Noelle that her scandalous relationship will hold her back from pushing through the London it crowd. Juliet visits Marissa. They’re gossiping about Noelle. Marissa tells her nanny to put her son down for a nap. Then runs out with Juliet. Caprice, Marissa, Juliet and Noelle meet for tea. They immediately start in on Noelle about her boyfriend, Scott. The big hang up for everyone is Scott went to jail because he didn’t agree to the plea deal that would have kept him from going to jail to begin with. Investigators wanted Scott to name names on who helped him conceal 400 million pounds in assets from his estranged wife during their divorce. Juliet is asking way too many questions for my taste. Why does she care so much?

Polo In The Park is the first social event of the Summer in London. Caroline is having her makeup done and I’m taking notes, LOL! No really… Juliet is getting ready as well and explaining to her daughter about polo. Then her makeup artist tells her that she hates Americans. Juliet says to the camera that it’s annoying that her children have a British accent. I think it’s adorable! In one car we have Annabelle, Caprice and Caroline on their way to the polo match. Noelle, Marissa and Juliet are in the other car. Caprice and her friends were discussing how you never want to wear a hat to polo. Cut to Noelle riding in the other car, wearing a hat. This should be good! Marissa is basically kissing Caroline’s ass. Caroline says that’s how Americans are, “Where did you get your shoes? You look so pretty! …” Seriously, all Caroline talks about is British society… Does anyone give an effff?

Apparently you’re not supposed to actually watch the polo match. Just drink and talk to one another. Also, Brits don’t show excitement or talk about being excited like Americans do. That’s so interesting…!

The ladies are leaving Polo in the Park, but not before they have tea, again. For the record, I love Noelle’s dress and hat. I’m an American though; so not sure it counts for anything. Caroline informs us that she likes Juliet and that it’s a big deal.

Next week, on The Ladies Of London…  Noelle is upset that everyone is upset about her relationship situation. Annabelle and Juliet get into a squabble and many other things… 😀 Stay tuned! Yah! #LadiesOfLondon
